What is the JASON Project?

The JASON Foundation for Education is a leading provider of experience-based science and math curriculum and professional development for grades 4-9. Using multi-media tools and access to the nation’s leading scientists, JASON combines genuine scientific expeditions around the world, standards-based classroom curriculum and accredited professional development for teachers to deliver REAL adventures in learning and measurable gains in student achievement. Named for the mythological Greek adventurer, JASON offers students and teachers a unique opportunity to pursue the “Golden Fleece” and learn through discovery and exploration. Our goal is to help students prepare for a future in which science, mathematics and technology will be central to improving the quality of life in their communities, their countries and the world.
